NEW Welcome to the Jungle Friends Collection

 Just sharing a quick card that I printed using the 

FREE Welcome to the Jungle Friends available till Sunday, 19th, midnight MST.

For this little card, I simply imported the graphics file into my Pazzles Inspiration software, but you could equally use the svg file too.  The graphic file tends to give a bit more detail and on this occasion I just wanted to print it out for speed.

I then drew a rectangle around the image to the size I wanted it to fit on the card.  I printed it out on my printer and just used by guillotine to cut around the straight edges.

I designed the base of my card in my Pazzles software using rounded corners and cut out my base card.

I drew myself a simple banner in my software, typed out my sentiment using the alphabet from the collection, then print and cut it out using my scissors.

A very quick card, because my 9 year old son was anxiously waiting to go off to play in a football tournament this afternoon which I knew was going to last for several hours!!!

Tagged Sentiment for Mum

 

Just sharing another of the Tagged Sentiments included in the LD Great Gift Giving Bundle.  I love these as they make lovely quick tags with sentiments to suit lots of occasions.

I decided to make the tag a bit prettier, by using some flowers from the Dimensional Flowers set also included in the bundle.

Dad Tag Sentiment - Shaped Card

Just sharing a quick card that I made from Tagged Sentiments included in the LD Great Gift Giving Bundle using my Pazzles Inspiration software. This card makes me smile, because when I first met my husband he had a moustache!  One evening, 10 years later he decided to shave it off without telling anyone!  It took my 3 children and I, a couple of days to work out what was different about him.  My youngest piped up at tea time "Dad your moustache has gone". We all burst into laughter, hence the saying......."Love is blind"

Anyway here is a simple tutorial for those of you just learning about your software.

I imported the svg tagged sentiment into my software and removed the fill.  

I then selected Inline/Outline on my left side bar using the Pazzles Studio Pro software.  This opened up the transformation menu.  I selected an thickness of 0.15 and checked Inline (see red line).

I also deleted the hole at the top of the tag.

I then selected the Move Point Tool and Scissors (Cut Straight Line). I drew a straight line, holding my shift key to cut across the tag just above the DAD lettering.

I then moved the Inline part of the tag across to a clear space on my visual mat which gave me the layer for my patterned paper on my tag.

Now to make the base of my Tagged card.......I took my original tag, selected C on my keyboard, Mirror, According to (top/middle coordinate, duplicate, and apply. 

I then moved the top tag down slightly using my down arrow key on my keyboard to overlap the other tag.  Then I selected Weld.  

You should hopefully have your Tag Sentiment shaped card!

I cut out a moustache from another LD set and adhered it to the front of my card using craft foam pads.  I just couldn't resist adding a punched heart!

I thought this would be a quick simple card for Father's Day.

A Gift 4 You

As soon as I saw this set I couldn't wait to upload the file and get cutting with my Pazzles Inspiration. 

I love daffodils and often I buy myself a bunch, to put in a vase on my kitchen window.

I cut all the elements of my card using various tones of cardstock with my electronic cutting machine.

Using the svg file with my Pazzles Inspiration I made an outline/shadow in my software, and made the front of the card in the cream coloured card stock.  I then used the outline of the green layer to mirror, duplicate and weld my folded base card.  The folded card was a bit smaller that the front base of the card because it would have been difficult to make a good fold at the top,due to the stamen parts of the daffodil....I hope that makes sense!

I couldn't resist adding a punched heart for the centre of the jar.  I added a piece of acetate, for the jar but it doesn't show up in the photograph.  I stamped a sentiment which I punched out with one of my favourite tag punch and threaded some twine around the jar.
